Build a Three-Legged Stool w/Piper and Cai

January 9th and 10th, 10 AM - 4PM

Turn a log into a stool! Ready to get familiar with a drawknife and shavehorse? We’ll use mostly hand tools to shape stool legs from green wood and join them into a seat with a simple but beautiful mortise and tenon joint. This is a great class for anyone interested in gaining more of an understanding of green woodworking, handtools, and simple furniture forms.

This class is appropriate for ages 10+. Minors younger than 15 must be accompanied by an adult - this is a great parent/child class to take together! Adults are also welcome to register solo.

Class will run 9-4ish Saturday and Sunday with a flexible end time based on personal progress.

Accessibility

The space is wheelchair accessible and has an indoor bathroom
